Get playful with clay in this hands-on pottery workshop where you’ll craft your own creations from clay, customising them as you wish. Once your items are formed, you’ll paint and decorate it with your own creative flair - adding colour and character for those perfect finishing touches. Guidance is offered by our artist throughout your session.
All clay, tools, templates, glazing & firing of your items are all included.
Open to all experience levels from beginners to advanced, adults and ages 10+, no prior pottery experience required.

(Seating in studio, is based on a first come first serve basis, with no seating being reserved prior to an event. Please kindly arrive on time to select your seating accordingly. Kindly note that we operate as an 'open studio' accommodating multiple activities / events concurrently.)
(YAY! You're about to make something amazing! After your workshop, each unique piece will be fully dried, fired, glazed with a transparent glaze and re-fired for the final touches, this process can take about 6-8 weeks, subject to the loadshedding schedule. Your beautiful hand-made item can then be collected from our studio once ready for collection or items can be delivered to you. Please note once notified for collection, please kindly ensure to collect within 2 weeks hereafter. Items that are not collected will be donated to 'Creative Kindness' - A Creatory initiative donating little gifts to charity)
Terms & Conditions:
Once your booking has been placed online, you will receive an automatic email confirmation. This email serves as confirmation of your booking - there is no need to bring it along, as your spot will already be noted on our system.
Please note that bookings cannot be refunded or transferred to a later date, so we kindly ask that you double-check your date and time at checkout. Should you be unable to attend for any reason, you are welcome to gift your booking to someone else.
Our workshops, classes and Art Café experiences are designed as creative experiences - an opportunity to slow down, get creative and enjoy the process - rather than a guaranteed end product. As every piece is handmade by you, it will reflect your own style and personal touch and will not look identical to any example or to another guest's work. This individuality is part of what makes each piece special. For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds or re-dos based on how a finished piece turns out, or on how it compares to what you had envisioned.
Please note that our sessions begin at the scheduled time. We kindly ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in, as late arrivals may miss part of the session and we are unfortunately unable to extend the session time or offer a refund as a result. Should you anticipate running late, please let us know and we will do our best to help you settle in smoothly.
The Creatory reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events at any time. In the event that an event is cancelled or rescheduled by us, you will be notified and given the choice of a full refund or a booking on the next available date.
